Making it easier to call people and look things up online.
On all smartphones there’s a feature in it that allows the user to download applications such as games and books. Usually you set up an account with a username and password allowing you to access other features. On the iPhone there’s a setting that allows you to lock the apps, meaning put a passcode on them from settings and make it so only you can delete your apps.
The reason someone should get a smartphone would be for a job, school, ect. Using them for work helps when you need a light or to search something up online, and the same for school. Using it as a calculator or using the internet for projects and things like that.

2. Which cases best represent the issue you selected?
a. {Provide examples of the cases and explain their significance. What happened? Who was involved? etc.
One reason not to get a SmartPhone would be the fact that they're too time consuming and approximately 3,000 people die a year from texting or talking on the phone while driving.
The accidents that are caused by mobile phones are careless mistakes on the driver’s part; using a phone while driving is almost a bad as driving drunk. When drunk driving, the main cause is the fact that the person driving the car goes unconscious, closes their eyes for a couple seconds resulting in sleep. When texting, it’s like the same thing, people get so distracted trying to read the message that they don’t realize the they’ve drifted into the next lane, or the fact that they’re now heading straight for a tree or even a lake of some sort.
